Overview
Arcade flying, made for quick sessions
Skyfang is a single-player air-combat game designed around short missions with one clear goal each: jump in, fly hard, and come back for one more. Players work through a 30-mission campaign world by world, plus 8 bonus missions with their own unlock goals.
Missions mix dogfights, ground strikes, escorts, base defense, checkpoint runs, coin rushes, missile dodging and survival. Campaign bosses fight back in phases with escorts and missile salvos. Between missions, players unlock new aircraft in the Hangar and upgrade engine, armor, guns and missiles across five levels each.

Development highlights
From Unity project to App Store release
-
Unity development
Built in Unity with C#
- Unity 2022.3 LTS with gameplay, UI and progression written in C#.
- Scenes, prefabs and materials generated by editor scripts, so the whole game can be rebuilt consistently.
- Automated logic tests, scene validation and play-mode smoke tests that run headlessly.
- App Store screenshots and header art captured in-engine with an automated capture tool.
-
Mobile optimization
Made for phones and tablets
- Object pooling for projectiles and effects, with no per-shot instantiate or destroy.
- Low, Medium and High graphics settings: Low targets 30 fps, Medium and High 60 fps, and optional effects scale with the setting.
- IL2CPP ARM64 builds and safe-area-aware UI for notched and Dynamic Island iPhones.
- One-thumb controls: floating or fixed joystick plus optional tilt steering. The game itself plays offline.
-
Advertising integration
Google AdMob, placed with care
- Banner ads only on menu screens, never during combat.
- Interstitials capped to at most one every two finished missions, with a minimum gap between them.
- Optional rewarded video to continue a mission once or double coin rewards.
- Google consent (UMP) and Apple App Tracking Transparency handled before any ad is requested.
-
Publishing
Released on the App Store
- Store listing, screenshots for every required iPhone and iPad size, and header art.
- A dedicated game website, privacy policy and support contact.
- app-ads.txt published for ad-network verification.
- No account needed: progress stays on the player's device.
