It says “The server didn't answer”

The tunnel started but no traffic came back, so the app stopped instead of showing a false “Protected”. Tap Try again, or pick Fastest available, which tests the servers and moves on to the next-best one automatically. Some networks (for example some workplace or school Wi-Fi) block VPN protocols; try mobile data.

Why does Android ask me to allow a VPN connection?

Every Android VPN app needs this permission once. Tap OK. A key icon then appears in the status bar whenever the VPN is on.

How do I check that it's working?

When connected, the home screen shows You're protected and the public IP address and country that websites now see. You can confirm it on any “what is my IP” website in your browser.

Can I keep an app outside the VPN?

Yes: Settings ▸ Split tunnelling. Apps you exclude connect directly with your real IP address. This is useful for banking apps that block VPN connections.

Is there a kill switch?

Not inside the app. Android has one built in: Settings ▸ Kill switch in VPN Super opens Android's VPN settings, where you can turn on Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN for VPN Super.

Does it keep running when I close the app?

Yes. The VPN runs in its own background process and shows a notification with a Disconnect button. Force-stopping the app in Android settings stops the VPN too. If your phone has aggressive battery saving, allow VPN Super to run in the background.

Why are there ads?

VPN Super is free and paid for by non-personalized ads from HUAWEI Ads (Petal Ads): a banner, and sometimes a full-screen ad after you disconnect. Ads never appear while you are connecting. Details are in the privacy policy.

Do you keep logs?

The app does not record the websites you visit and has no analytics. VPN servers and their hosting providers can keep standard technical logs, and we don't make a “no-logs” claim. The privacy policy explains exactly what is handled.
